If you've ever skipped a massage because you didn't want to fight traffic, find parking, or drive home half-asleep afterward, you're not alone.
Mobile massage solves that. A licensed, insured therapist arrives at your home, hotel, vacation rental, or office with everything needed for a professional session — table, sheets, oils, music — so your only job is to relax.

7 reasons people are switching to mobile massage
1. You get your time back
No 30-minute drive each way, no parking, no lobby wait. Your session starts the moment your therapist arrives — and when it ends, you're already home.
2. You relax in your own space
Your bed, your couch, your music, your temperature. Familiar surroundings deepen the parasympathetic response — the whole point of a massage.
3. Every session is personalized
Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, medical massage — your therapist tailors pressure and technique to what your body needs that day.
4. It works for travel and events
Book at a hotel, Airbnb, or vacation rental. Add chair massage or a spa party for a bachelorette, birthday, or corporate offsite.
5. Licensed, insured, and background-checked
Every i‑thriv therapist is state-licensed, carries professional liability insurance, and passes a background check before their first booking.
6. Same-day availability in most areas
Booking windows open early morning through late evening. Extended-hours sessions are available for a small add-on.
7. Wellness beyond massage
The same therapist network offers sound baths, vibroacoustic therapy, facials, and nail care — all delivered to you.

Mobile massage FAQ
Is mobile massage safe? Yes. Every therapist is licensed by the California Massage Therapy Council, insured, and background-checked.
Do you tip a mobile massage therapist? Tipping is appreciated but never required. A standard 15–20% is common; you can add it in-app after your session.
What do I need to provide? Just a room with enough space for a massage table (about 7' x 4'). Your therapist brings everything else.
Can I book for two people at the same time? Yes — couples massage is available with two therapists arriving together.
Does insurance cover it? HSA/FSA cards work for qualifying sessions through Truemed. See Pay Your Way for full details.
